We designed Westridge Villa to offer unmatched beauty from the outside, while provided an incredible amount of outdoor living space for the owners to enjoy. By building the 7100 square foot home on less than 50% of the overall 15,000 square foot lot, we ensured that they have more than enough space to relish in Vancouver’s lovely nature.

The home includes ICF construction on all three levels, while the south orientation was specifically chosen for passive solar gain throughout all bedrooms. For the best view possible throughout the home, all living spaces face south towards the water for breathtaking scenes anytime the occupants look out their windows.

With a wide range of Smart Home capabilities, Westridge Villa is as technologically advanced as it is beautiful! Blending Innovative Construction and the Brilliance of the Outdoors.

We used inventive building techniques to make this one-of-a-kind natural dream home a reality. Madrona is Total Properties’ current homebuilding project, where we selected an amazing piece of land that includes scenic ocean and mountain views. The home is situated on a naturally rocky cliff that adds an extra feel of the outdoors, with a 31,000 square foot lot encompassing the property.

Aiming to be Net Zero ready and “Platinum Level” certified by Green Build, Madrona’s uniqueness comes from the fusion of sustainability, Smart Home integration and beautiful natural surroundings that create the ideal home!

A Home Designed to Appreciate the Landscape

The first thing that anybody will notice about Madrona is the perfect location that we have discovered. The steep, rock-based plot offers the rare opportunity for both oceanic and mountain views throughout the home. While most development companies would shy away from such a difficult terrain to build on, Total Properties’ appetite for pushing the boundaries of innovation to build remarkable homes drew us specifically to this land!

To maximize the impact of the breathtaking surroundings, we designed all bedrooms and living areas to be southwest facing. However, we didn’t want to limit the occupants to only enjoying the views from the indoors. That is why we built a 25,000 square foot concrete patio that is elevated over a 20’ concrete column.

No luxury home with such impeccable surroundings would be complete without a swimming pool, which is why Madrona features a specially-designed indoor pool which is practical for fall, winter and spring in Vancouver. However, we added bi-folding aluminium patio doors which open both ways to connect it to the outside area, creating the perfect place to relax in summer’s fresh air.
